wormy village

Today's group observed the worms in the compost bin and, they were mostly in the middle of the bin. We think they were in the middle because they were looking for food. The food left in the compost bin is apple. They need to be fed because they are almost out of food. They were last fed apple on November 20, 2007. It was 76 degrees outside the compost bin and inside it was 74 degrees.

Super Wormtopia 3

Today in super Wormtopia all the worms were crumpled together in the red section. They were near the apples. Some of them were in the pink section too. The temperature was 73 degrees in the bin. The outside of the bin temperature was 69 degrees. They were trying to escape from the bin but Davis saved them. We predict they will eat the apple by the end of the week.

In Wormtopia the worms were bunched together under the newspaper on top of the apple bits, in the green, black, and pink sections of the bin. The worms were last fed November 20, 2007. The temperature inside of the bin was 74 degrees. Why don't the worms spread out? Log in next Tuesday, December 4 to find out more!!

Wormtopia Group 1

Today in WormTopia the worms enjoyed a meal of apples and cores. The worms enjoyed a nice warm temperature of 70 degrees. We found the worms like their apples sliced. Will the worms eventually move to the red section to a nice rotten apple core?
